Reducing spam to your WordPress site with reCAPTCHA

If your WordPress website is flooded with spam comments, you should consider using reCAPTCHA plugin to reduce this problem.
In a nutshell, reCAPTCHA prevent spamming software to post spam messages to your comment forms or contact forms. Wikipedia has 2 good articles about reCAPTCHA and CAPTCHA.

The to do steps are as follows:

• Register at http://www.google.com/recaptcha and get a public key and a private key
• Install  WP-reCAPTCHA plugin for your WordPress website
• Add the public key and the private key to the reCAPTCHA Options
• Verify the CAPTCHA on the comment area, (you need to logout as an admin).
